A cede is the same thing as taking over the castle. It works with both Stronghold and Stronghold Crusader. You may want to add the Time Off and Time On triggers as well if you have to defend the castle after capturing it, otherwise an invasion may overlap while you are attacking the castle. Or if your condition was not set to "No Enemy on Map", the invaders will then become your units. The latter could be useful in a reinforcement sort of trigger.
Alternatively, you can make a copy of the file of mission 10 by going to your "maps" folder and finding mission10.map. This will make your own copy of the map, and you can edit it in any way you'd like, such as wiping out all the triggers but the "cede" event and removing everything from the map itself. And to change the size, you can press alt-comma(,) to do so.

Stronghold Knights has custom cede maps with 7 cede events and a cleaned up scenario in their download section.
Cedes are a great way to give the player custom reinforcements too by the way. For instance, if you want the player to have a number of knights, but not right away, you can give them to him by timing a cede event immediately after some enemy knights appear on the map.

That's great Eric! Perhaps rename the files to homage the original creator?
