Hi all new dudettes and dudes! Indeed, you are surfing friendly posts here at the Stronghold forums. We epitomize the name of the game by generating STRONG ties and HOLDing on to our members due to our charming and interesting discussions. This doesn't just apply to these forums but also to the entire site. Just look at that coverage of Neuschwanstein and those downloads, for example!
For our new member in Texas: nice state, visited it in October last year and I also have a 5-year-old and our Golden Retriever is almost 2 years old (he still acts like he is a puppy though--a very big one)!

Not very good at the game, but loving it. Recently got a mate of mine hooked, and he used my computer for a whole saturday. Keen for some multiplayer...?

Most of you probably know me by now, I'm aka as the "eyecandy man," and that's not due to my good looks
Anyway, I never got to properly introducing myself, but there's no time like the present.
I'm a 22 years old male from Groningen, Holland. (21-04-80) I study at an art academy to become an illustrator. My favourite materials are acrylic paint and pastels(crayons). My "hobbies" are: PC games, board games, movies and drinking beer and going out with my friends and/or at my faternity. I also smoke too much.
My favourite games and movies are: -Baldur's Gate I&II and Throne of Bhaal and ofcourse Sronghold. -American Beaty, The Shawshank Redemption, The English patient, Forrest Gump and the Matrix.
I started playing Stronghold in October 2001, I finished the Military and economic campaigns several times. I became an active member of Stronghold Central in December, I played a lot of Invasion scenarios and started making my own. When SC went offline I thought I finally got rid of yet another addiction, only to dicover SHH. I had mostly lost passion for SH by then, untill I discovered the SD forum here and it's breakthroughs in eye-candy and tricks. I got into a design frenzy which turned out several major eye-candy objects like ships, a joust and an archery contest. At this time I have 11 scenario's up on the site, with my Lighthouse trilogy at their peak.

Thank you Vaia. It's good to be on the list
I've mostly written for underground and small press. Currently I work on a comic called Little Gloomy. (You can see I worked really hard to come up with my ID here). The book is published by the fine folks at Slave Labor Graphics and occasionally shows up in the grocery store magazine, Disney Adventures.
I was hired to write a Will Smith comic. Fortunately it never saw the light of day. The thing was terrible.

littlegloomy,
With the information that you provided, I went to the Net to see what I could find. I started at the SLG site where I found a preview of the Little Gloomy comic. I enjoyed it, and thought that I would share it with the other members here.
Follow the link to the web site of Slave Labor Graphics. In the site menu on the left, select “The Lounge”. When you get to the Lounge go to “Online Peepshows”. Scroll down to find the “Little Gloomy Preview”.
Thanks Jayhawk. Funny thing today, everytime I would see someone refer to you as "AJ" I would be very confused. I kept wondering if those was somehow related to your real name. Then today I made the connection. "Angel Jayhawk" hence: "AJ".
Dang I'm slow.
It's even sadder that I had to be pumped up on cold medication to figure this out.

Don't worry littlegloomy - you're far from the first to assume it's something to do with his real name. Some of us knew him back in Caesar3Heaven days before he was a seraph and, yes you're right, he was Angel Jayhawk = AJ.
