May God
grant you always...
A sunbeam to warm you,
A moonbeam to charm you,
A sheltering angel
So nothing
can harm you...

Laughter to cheer you,
Faithful friends near you,
And whenever you pray,
Heaven to hear you.

Speaking about restaurants in my country - I'd rather say they are expensive (for our budgets), but it's tolerable when you visit a restaurant once in a while for some special occasions...

Probably my cousin are saying that it was expensive compared to Indonesian price. Well, price for everything in Indonesia is considered cheap for the westerner because of our low currency value. You can eat like a king for only like $15 . Tho i'll still thinks that eating something that worth $15 is expensive

That sounds about right for a meal at any fast food place in the states. To eat cheaply you have to order from the value menu.
Duc Vautour your dish above looks interesting. I only had Indonesian cooking once I remember I didn't like the curry in one dish, I also found out I was alergic to it. lol

Good to see you guys

In Scotland we have a tradition where you bring a gift when you visit someone soon after New Year. because if you are the "First Foot" to step inside their house you must give a gift. Indeed going out visiting shortly after midnight is called First Footing. A traditional gift is a cake called Black Bun, kind of fruit cake.

So guess what? I have some Black Bun here, I'll put it in this tin here on the table and leave the knife beside it with some paper napkins. You can all just help yourself. Let me know if you like it

Greetings everyone. Been busy elsewhere and have not been on these forums for a long time. Tried to load AOK on my new laptop (win8.1) and it hangs when it copying files. I try Stronghold later. How many out there are running these old programs on 8.1?

Conquerors works for me on 8.1. Actually a lot of things so far have worked fine. Stronghold certainly works.

Hey guys!!!!! My original user id was subindxsubin

WoW.... just wow...

Coming back here brings back so many memories. There was a time in my life when i would spend all my time on here making maps, posting etc....
Nice to see familiar faces like lady arcola and ericgolf still here.

I look at time stamps and realise that I was last here in 2008 or 2009. Such a long time ago. Am just 20 so thats really long time ago

I think I started participating in this community when I was 12 or 11.... some people knew I was underage

I reinstalled crusader in 2010 and played multiplayer on gameranger for 2-3 months but I quit that too. I installed it again recently

This place brings back so many memories I teared up... all the great people, the times...Makes me feel old

Now am in college to be a doctor

Well, you were active before I came to this place, but I do know about you - thanks to your maps, but to other community members as well.

Great to see you come back to check it out, I wish you luck with your studies!

Regarding being here, or at GameRanger playing multiplayer, I do find it more appealing to spend time here or at Stronghold Nation, which is similar to Stronghold Knights, as at GameRanger there are more less friendly people, and they are too competitive forgetting the reason why we are here.

Stronghold works. AOE3 works. Haven't played it recently. Currently hooked on flying planes (MS Flight Simulator X). Who knows were my fancy takes me next?

Pretty quiet here.

Found another set of disks containing AOEII and got it installed and running. These disks are part of a 3 disk set that contain the original AOK. I bought these for cheep long after I bought AOEII. Any way, the graphics are better then when I had installed on my Win7 system.

This is interesting to hear about graphics how it is better now. I still have Windows 7 and I am pretty slow with getting to another operative system, but one day I will have to change it, and all this sounds encouraging.

I also installed Age of Empires III again on my PC, although I haven't played it much till then, but it is one of the games I do play now and then.

If PeterA bought a new computer the reason for the better looking graphics could simply be because of a better screen and/or a special coating on the screen.
