We got the closest thing I have seen to snow outside my door - a blanket of hail. Really crazy, was over in 10 minutes too.
We also have our political issues over here, a tax on carbon emissions has been passed so we're going to pay more for everything. Current government can kiss re election goodbye, especially when they promised they would not introduce a carbon tax.
Lastly I hope you guys get some SH3 rooms up, the game has been released in some parts of the world and i'm sure there will be people eager to upload some maps

Is Twodie living in Germany? I thought only Germany, Austria and Switzerland got the game on pre-release, the remainder of the world have to wait until 25th, except I've heard Russia is first on the 30th of October.

No, I think he lives in Lithuania. He should have been in the beta though.
sure, lots, you can merge buildings to make new ones and make tunnels out of floating rocks if you have time to burn (it's quite hard to do but possible)
That's an awesome possibility you have discovered.
How do you like the editor being stand-alone?
Wait till you see tutorials with pictures, i'm not done with the good stuff yet Standalone editor is annoying but I think it has to be that way due to the engine they licensed. You cannot move troops and so have to constantly transfer files, close editor, open game, close game, open editor and continue working.
Annoying.
Having said that the editor is really amazing, it's just going to take a few people who know it well to convince everyone on it - so hopefully I can play my part in that by making a few tutorials. I plan to share everything I write between firefly, SHK and SHH

Can you explain to me what use the Wire Frame setting in the Editor is used for?

No use for it as far as I know, probably left in by mistake. It does allow you to see how stretched the textures will be on mountains and such but you can see that without the frame.
You cannot import your own models so you really don't run into any reasons to use it.
Haven't seen consumer powerlines on poles for a long time. Here in Denmark, everything under 12K Volt is placed in the ground.
