This castle near the coast is important for trade on the sea, but the Duke wants those trade routes for himself and has declared war with you. He is also allied with a powerful Warlord. The Warlord's army has arrived near your castle and they set camp in the woods near a small village. They are tired and will rest for the night, so they will attack in the morning. If you send knights on horses to sneak past the Warlord's army in the night and charge the command post you may kill him before he launches the attack. However you can also prepare and fortify the castle to survive, if you don't kill him at night. With the Warlord's army disbanded/defeated you can try and take The Duke's castle.
Tip:Use your resources to either kill the warlord to avoid his attack or to fortify your castle so you can survive his attack.
Tip:You can avoid the warlord's attack by killing him(green).
Tip:Use knights on horses to quickly reach the command post and sneak past the army in the night.(first move the knights outside the castle then mount them on horses)
Tip:Use pitch ditches and other traps to defend your castle from attacks.
Tip:Having access to the docks and the trade routes, you can buy/sell anything. Buy weapons if you want to raise an army faster.
Tip:Use the Market to autosell goods that you don't need for extra gold.
Tip:If you want to charge from your castle with knights on horses click on the enemy to attack directly instead of moving them outside (if you move them on horse outside they will dismount at the gate, if you click to attack an enemy they will NOT dismount and charge all the way). Use this to destroy catapults faster.

Another FANTASTIC map. This was probably the hardest one yet. The attacks just kept coming, but I finally prevailed.
Please continue making these wonderful maps

Thanks! Can you tell me what you found hard, to defend or to attack ? I don't want to make the maps that hard...

I chose not to attack at night and instead create defenses. I like playing these maps for as long as possible. The attacks from both sides were fairly large and fairly frequent with a lot of knights. There were times when I was being attacked from both sides at the same time and that makes it more difficult, BUT not impossible. I had to utilize many mongol towers and many walls with fire logs to keep the attacks from getting into my castle. I finally started with the trebuckets and attacked the "outlaw" camp, but even then the attacks keep coming, until I killed the leader.
I really like your maps and hope others will play them, but some might get frustrated with the large and consistent attacks. However this is what I like about your maps.

If you don't attack at night it is actually harder, you already have the gold the horses and the weapons to make 9 knights from the start or you can build more stables and go with 15 knights and try to get past the army and charge the green lord and you can kill him easy with a minimum of 9 knights actually. Then you will find the map more easy.

Another great map. I just finished it. I also built my defenses and waited for the strike. At one point the enemy made it to my stronghold but I was able to hold them off. The scenarion played out flawlessly and the map as a whole was just great...

...however, a little bit "laggy", when they were attacking...
