Once Ironica Island was one of the most peaceful places on earth. Its modest and pious inhabitants had been living there for generations in harmony with nature. No one could ever imagine that the evil would strike this beautiful paradise. All trading vessels were securely led through the foggy sea by a big lighthouse, in order to prevent them from getting shipwrecked near the coast. Other distressed ships which were damaged by storm could lay at anchor to get repaired and to fill up their stocks of apples against vitamine deficiency (scorbut). But one day peaceful life ended abruptly when pirates, headed by the insidious Captain Wolfen, invaded the island terrorizing the population by day and night. To top it all, they converted a former lookout tower into a turret and armed it with a mangonel with the intention of bombarding everyone who was coming close.
Now it is your turn. You are Captain Braveheart the proud owner of a schooner. Normally, it would be your kingly mission to secure the shipping route between England and Africa. But a violent tempest in the North Atlantic has disabled your ship holding the course. So you ran aground on a sandbank on the southern shore of Ironica Island. And it did not take a long time until you encountered those unpleasant bandits who had murdered some of your companions. The offenders must be called to account, and justice has to be restored. A lonesome hermit living in the near mountains reported that he had discovered a lot of redish twinkling stones problably containing iron ore. This might be very helpful to forge the necessary armours for the rearmament and the fight against piracy. If you manage to reassemble all the fugitives, your forces will be powerful enough to wipe out the evil.
Hints:
Be prepared for fires as you cannot rebuild huts (limited population!)
A time limit is your major handicap, so try to employ your workers efficiently.
The optional quest (apples) is not an imperative task to fulfill, but it will cause a useful benefit (armours).
