Description: Your royal market traders report news, that your supply lines are being cut
off. Reports of a local merchant named, Capadona, has been strong arming local caravans.
Capadona, useing his waterside fort, has driven out all other traders in order to line his
pocket. After hearing the news you quickly assemble an army, and march south to confront
this tyrant. A local caravan leader, whose trade route was blocked by Capadona, has sent
you some aid.
Though a frontal assult seems like it might be the best option, I can say otherwise...
Use mountains to help offset the hight advantage Capadona has.
Assassins are good for more than opening up gatehouses...
Note: I had several different ideas on this map(as usual), but I think the storyline fits.
Feedback is more than welcome. Good/Bad, it will all help in the next maps. Thanks for
This was a rather simple map, but realy fun to play! Playability and balance are great, so i enjoyed it very much. These are my ratings:
Playability:it's very good, map's not difficult, but you have to carefully plan your attack.
Balance:I give it a 4. I managed to kill the enemy Lord with a 60% loses. This is actually a siege map,you don't have any siege weapons, but you do get some assassins and you must use them to capture enemy gates.
Creativity: I liked the canyons and the gatehouses guarding them, but I only gave it a 3 here,as I din't find anything really innovative.
Map design: A small,cute castle,beatiful canyons,but no particular eyecandy.I think a 3 is fair.
Story:It's nice and the instructions are also very good.Deserves a 4.
Conclusion:A very nice job.I think that small, rather simple maps, when playable like this one, should be praised.
