I got the idea to make this map from studying the british blockades on the American Colonies.
The wolf has blockaded one of your most valuable Iron mine citys. You must take it back. The forces you currently have stationed there are not enough to dismantle the blockade. Sir Longarm is addedresed by the king to bring him back some iron and requests he use swordsmen as a tactic to remove the blockade! But beware beyond the wolf's walls are awaiting troops to attack your city if those walls are tampered with. But also be aware that the wolf is constantly sending reinforcements and will eventually break through his blockade in an attempt to remove and kill you so you must strike HARD AND FAST!
One thing that made this map stand out was the amount of deers that was on it. For me when I was playing this, they became more of a nuisance than the rabbits, bears, and wolves if there were any on the map. Everywhere on the map you will see deers. My suggestion is to lighten up on the deers. As I had to send archers to kill'em because they were bugging me that much.
Nothing to fancy here. Get troops. Destroy walls. Wolf's troops come. Kill'em. Continue to destroy wall.
I put 4/5 because there were so many deers they actually sort of handicapped me because I had to go destroy the deers so I can place something where they are sitting. Beyonds that, nothing else.
I guess the huge wood flank walls are creative :p. I mean, the waterfalls.. everyone is using them these days they aren't that creative anymore.
Map Design 3/5
Nothing to fancy here either. Waterfall, tons of deers, river between the "blockade" and your castle. Literally almost 1/4 of the map is iron.
I see this has some historical value. Hey, better than no historical value at all. One problem that I have with this is in the beginning the wolf says something about "your good as dead" or something like that (a taunt). As he said that, I thought he was going to attack me and I immediately started to prepare for it. Turned out a few years later he would attack me -_-. Meanwhile everytime I click on my citizens they would say "We're doomed" Not that I care about them anyway :p. But just to let you know.
Overall: Nothing in this map really makes it stands out. Except the deers which sorta handicaps you. Good effort Wabbit.
