It's a large cede and ecovasion map.
Lengh time is about 20 years.
Ecogoal are blessing 20%, ale 60, metal armors 22, swords 22,gold 2000 and xbow 60.
Restriction on the market place are mostly wood, weapons, pitch, hope and ale, some others, but less important
No restriction in troops but tunnelers laddermen and most of siege engins (you have anyway rams at start). Point however that weapons requierement could prevent large hire of some particular troops.
Traps are diseabled but oil fundery is available.
Story : two kingdowns, Thendal and Scarilania are at war. A duke of your realm turn in the ennemy side. Your cousin, the king of Thendal, declare him to be a felon, and withdraw his right to rule the duchy. he officially give you the duchy. But really the felon still own his land. With the king's claim, perhaps the garrison will turn in your side if events turn too badly for it. After all you're now the rightful Duke (very important info).
You actually siege the castle, but king of Scarilania, Scupulanis, (the Wolf), send to duke Baftig, (the pig), mercenaries in order to weaken you and break the siege (Imo your foe is very optimist, sic). You start under immediat attack in your camp, a wooden castellum.
So you start under siege, then it's you who siege the castle, then it turn as an ecovasion.
Point it's also a time out map. Control of the duchy purpose is to have a base to attack the next goal. This attack is still planed and you must not be late. Ecogoal are here because you must give weapons for garrison to the next castle your king plan to take, and ale ... euh... because soldiers at this time didn't drink too much water.
Blessing, his here to convice the church to come in your side, or at least to not be against you. Gold is here to pay the war.
Last thing : last invasion is dramaticly close to the dead line. You'd better to don't rely only on missiles troops. Hand to hand combat troops are also important to defeat the ennemy as fast as possible. Reasons are the time out, but also the blessing goal. Invasion usually strike badly your population, both because of destruction/killing, than because gates are closed. Sadly here the last men to come are apothicary and monks.
