Hi and welcome to omy first economical mission - The Fire of London.
This is an intense mission, and is very suprising and challenging, it is best played on normal.
Your instructions are to prepare (for a short time) for the fires and then rebuild after the devastation.
I really enjoyed playing this and hope that you do to...
This map is not historically accurate in any way, but I think of it as not a bad recreation of the thames valley and the city of the time. The city has been carefully designed so that it has the appearance of a city which has gradually evolved instead of being built just as it is at the time.
This map is wonderfully balanced on normal and is a very good ecenomic challenge.

I really like this mission. The goals were very hard to attain, and required careful planning. I would really like to see this map turned into an invasion and see how the castle holds up. The map was very interesting, and I liked the set up of the castle. It totally needed to have 500 people running it. Again, over all, I liked that there were a ton of goals to complete, and would love to see how this castle stacks up against invaders. - Dianna

An excellent premise -
I always look for and try to create economic missions with unusual goals or difficulties, and this mission delivers.
A great map-
As a city it really works. I especially like the attention to detail in things like dirt roads. Also it was fun to see hordes of bakers and woodsmen leave the campfire.
A fun play, but-
Despite the threat of fire, which really drew me to the scenario, by placing tons of wells you can handle them easily. I anxiously awaited the first fire, but was dissapointed. There was plenty of time and I had no problem finishing 50 months early.
A good game, but I suggest trying it on hard to increase the challenge.
