My first Invasion map. Only bug I have found is on some computers the enemy wont attck, they will just stand there(If you know how to fix this please email me at For most systems this is a fun defence map with lots of killing. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Ok version 2 is out fixed AI pathing as well as adding some features. Will work on some economic goals next I have time. Email comments to or post here. I also have a version with custom sound Effects but its a large file (3mb) if you want it email me.
UPDATE 2: Working on balancing as the map is a bit too easy since the update. May be a week or so between balancing this map and working on new.

Earl Listibald Thildemar, hi. They will all attack once you send a squad of your own guys out to mop them up or attack...

I just played it. It is a nicely designed map. One finds oneself pitched against numerous heavy invasions which come to attack with a vast number of siege engines. I retreated each and everybody inside the castle. Mounted all 450+ archers on these 5 roundtowers and that bridge leading up to these towers. For that I had to carve two or three little holes into the wooden fence...
Then I put up a squad of all knights, the macemen and all spearmen to deal with those siege engines. None of them ever managed to hit a tower. I collected 1500 gold from my 16 people. You gave the gamer 100 people but no facilities to feed them except for a generously filled granary. So I set everything to nil to let that number shrink to a healthy 16 peasants (otherwise one gets a constant -minus in happiness for crowding as there are no houses) and then fed them double rations to make them happy again and in the end to collect the gold. There is vast pauses between the attacks and I needed to turn the speed to 70 to make thoses pauses shrink... It woud be nice, if you let the player harvest something and build something. It does not have to be to gain additional troops as there are already plenty, but one little economic goal would have been nice to see, like e.g. "collect 100 bread" or so... This would also fill the pauses. Playability is 3 because it was fun to raid the attackers although they never had a chance of getting close to their final goal i.e. kill my Lord (Balance=2). It is a beautiful castle, although it urgently needs some woodcutters and other landscaping... (Map Design=3).
There sadly is no story delivered which renders this category as useless and therfore only receives a 1.
All in all a good first shot and keep them coming!!
