What I am offering is a true surge of adrenaline, -you have never seen anything like it. Although I have both Strongholds, I've decided to create an invasion map for the original. You have a long time span to fortify your keep in a beutiful, coastal plain. All resources are available to you and aren't hard to get. You are in fact geographically in an advantage over all attacking armies, just use your brain. You will have no invasions for a long time, giving you the opportunity to build a true wonder of a fortification- a stronghold if you may, and although at first it will seem boring because not much is happening, you will thank your lucky stars for every second you had to strengthen your keep when the shit hits the fan. You will then need to prove yourself by holding off thousands of men while keeping your economy runing smooth as possible. Just before you are about to win you will see why I called this map Surge.
Map is for SH , not Crusader ...
Don't worst the download , you have to wait 60 years the first invaders ( if they can enter the map , in such a long time even an average player reach the sprites limit whith his own soldiers and the numerous deers... ).

Well, I'm at 75 years. There have been lotsa notifications of an enemy attack, but I've only ever seen a few macemen and one cavalryman. I've greatly exceeded the targets for population, money, bread, ale, and blessed people, but the boxes remain stubbornly unticked. I didn't even get the box ticked for "Complete Castle," despite having a wall nine thingies thick.
A surge of adrenaline has thus far been woefully absent. The instructions say that crossbowmen alone won't be able to hold off the enemy attack, but since I have 858 of them and also two bands of bakeries for burning and an awfully wide moat, I think that one just might not be true.
I hit the sprite limit, getting no enemy attacks. I reduced the size of my settlement to four people and disbanded a load of crossbowmen, which resulted in attacks that were still poor. These attacks included spearmen, which I don't think are worth bothering with. I gave up on this mission at this point.
