I feel very torn to review this map. The castle itself is very nice, however the surrounding landscape is dull and uninteresting.
Play: The map starts off partially finished for you, which is sort of nice. The castle is built, you have a cathedral to start, and some other basic buildings. You start off by having to build a grannary, and no food. This deeply troubles me as my population started to fall almost instantly. Thats one of the big flaws to its playability and correction of this could cause the mark to be upped one point.
Balance: For the most part, the map is balanced. There is enough room for food, enough wood to keep you going and iron a plenty. Nothing extrodinary however sufficent to keep you going.
Creativity: Im really impressed with the pre-built castle. The rest of the map as said is not much to look at, but I think the castle makes up for it and then some.
Map: Alot of flaws and could use alot of work
1) the stone is walled in with the archers, and is inaccessable
2)The edges of the map could use some landscape. Badly.
3)One castle wall is non-symetrical to the others (it bothers me, inner wall and the north side when you start the game)
4) The trees could be better dispersed and less clumped together. Right now it looks unnatural.
Story: No story given.

I didn’t see your map before the update, but I’m glad you changed things. It is now a nice freebuild.
Although I prefer a freebuild without a castle, this one is very playable and gives enough room for the fantasy of the player. And the castle is beautiful!
Playability 4. Although I started with an empty granary, I could grow enough food to make my peasants happy. There is no possibility to trade, so you continuously have to make decisions about your priorities. I liked that.
Creativity 3,5. No special creativity, apart from the castle.
Map design: 3,5 The landscape is average (I liked that small blue lake, though), but the castle is nice.
Story 4. A good story, but more capitals and punctuation make it more readable.
