Lord George has built an impressive castle. Its defenses are second to none. But George didn't really have all that much to defend against. And now he has even less. Rebuilding this warlord's image is more important than building battlements here. See if you can get serfs to return to this stronghold that was built using the bones and blood of the people as mortar.
Playability:1
I'm sorry for this non-upbeat review but this is the most boring map I have ever played. You have this gigantic castle with like 3-4 layers. It is built out of round towers, enough said.
Balance:1
Even if you do not put archers on the walls, not matter what size the invasion, the ballistae massacre everything. Balance does not exist.
Creativity:2
You came up with a creative story that's all. You didn't use the dirt or grass brush very much and you did not put a single shrub in the map.
Map Design:1
Already explained in the first three
Story/Instructions:4
You went above and beyond the call of duty in your story, good job there.
Try harder next time and try to make your scenarios as realistic as possible. Think of the person playing the map before doing anything major.

A very different map...
I was curious about the round towers, so I had to see for myself. Yes, lots and lots of round towers - I'm all for symmetry and creativity, but only when it doesn't unduly hamper playability. I knocked out a couple of the towers and built stairs so that the people wouldn't have to navigate through every layer of castle to get out. Also, I kept having to flatten the map to see what existing buildings were there. There wasn't too much to do since the castle was already built, the stone quarries were already in place, and the only other resource were the trees. So playability and balance get 1's. But, as I'm all for new ideas, I'll give creativity a 3, and map design a 2, just for all the effort it must have taken to connect all the round towers! And like the previous reviewer, I thought the story was quite good - it gets a 5.
All in all, an interesting concept, Pirate Roberts, but I must say I enjoy your more recent maps a lot more!
