Ok I have updated this file thanks to Nat's comments. I have added a lord and "twieked" around with the AI to make them attack the gate house....they should :P. The landscape is also changed a little.
THE STORY!!!!---------------
In the years some where around 850( no one knows the exact date) a fleet of Viking raiders arived in the land which we today call Russia. Doing what Vikings do best, they made the people on thouse lands pay them tribute. It did not take long for the princess to unite and drive the Vikings out though...... My map is based on the accounts from the "Primary Russian Chronicles" which were started to be writen sometime in the early 13th century and compleated many years later by a monk Nestor.........There will be more on him and his writings when i finish the other maps that i have planed based on (PRC)......hope you all like this. !!! Also please feel free to write down any comments on this map, they realy help! Thanks and Enjoy.
My review is back after looking at your fully updated map. I have to say it is slightly better and it edged up in marking book to 3.6 so good work!
I cant remember if my single scores have changed much from my last review but I do prefer this version 2. The best improvement is putting in an inner wall - much better. You also put in a lord on my advice which also improves the map a lot. One slight pitfall is the pitch - there is too much so you kill so many men with it. The balance is reflected in this I think. Also I discovered something else - the enemy attack the first gatehouses - good but not the second. I think this is because the ground around the gatehouse is not perfectly flat. I really like wooden forts and my review might be higher than someone elses because of this. This map is quite well designed and nicely creative. I think it is so good of you to take the time to update your map. I feel that you ahve probably done enough. Make another map using the information you have learnt from aknig this one. As I said in my first review and I will say it again I am greatly interested in it but maybe a bit more could be posted. Good work - I will look out for soem of your later maps. Keep it up!
