Now that my Lord has finished my Lady’s dream castle, you set out to be the richest in all the land. In honor of your accomplishment, and to show you how much she loves you, my Lady has had an extraordinary uhhh…lake…uhhh….statue…..thing built on top of the fresh water spring. You’re not sure what to make of it, but it seems as if it has some sort of fertility effect on the land. The rabbits are breeding like mad Sire! Maybe there is something in the water. Could it be magic spring water with aphrodisiac qualities to it? Not sure my Lord, but everyone seems to be very happy all the time! Time to make some MONEY!
Design: 3, since most part of map is meadowland with trees, to less varied environment
Story: 2, I didn't find it pretentious
Creativity and Balance: 3
one goal to fulfill was fearfactor +5, but game already started with gamefactor +5, so I had to delete beautifications to get the workers to optimum work in the begining. Another point was population goal of 230 people in normal difficulty. I had to build a lot of farms and industry to employ that much people, alone about 50 woodcutters. As result of it my storage yard always was full and I spend most time with selling goods in the market. I found that a bit boring.
The first few bandit attacks were in my opinion to strong.
Despite above points, I enjoyed the game, but had it been more balanced I had enjoyed more.

I thought that the castle was beautiful. But, like the reviewer before me, had to delete much of the "good things" because all my people did was walk around look at everything! The population goal was difficult to reach also. It was fun, but could have used some more events to hinder the player's ability to reach the goals.
