Author File Description
Krakindale

This is actually a seige with a time limit. In this third instalment of "The Fall of Krakindale", you have to kill all the men in Earl Weilhem's castle before Sir Crantev's reinforcements arrive. Note: You must kill everyone in the castle, not only the lord, to win. Full storyline inside the zip file.

The third part of the Krakindale series continues in the Krakindale style with great storyline and a good fight. I personally thought that the map was a little too hard. I tried it about 5 times with a close defeat each time. I thought that the time limit was a little unnessisary, but then again, I may be wrong as it really made me hurry and get my act together. The map was addictive, I am still playing it now. The map design could do a little work, but was a lot better. It was almost a 4. It was playable and creative. The storyline was interesting and very clear. I thought you could have included some more instructions and some more information on the site. Overall, a great map! I await the next map!

To beat the map, NAT, you have to build a siege tower. Use your troops to dig the moat, and once a large enough space is dug (the space must be large enough to accomodate a siege tower), use the "attack here" button and ask your siege tower to attack a section of the wall (sometimes the siege tower won't move if you just click on the wall to ask it to attack). By the way, siege towers don't seem to work on slanted walls, so you'll have to attack the straight walls beside the gatehouse.

This is the way I used to win the scenario, it worked for me many times, hope it does for you. :)
