In the kingdom of Summerwood, is the normally peaceful castle of Mistwood. Resting on top the cliffs overlooking a small valley, Mistwood is one of the most important castles in Summerwood. It is also famous for its skilled and noble knights. But peace has ended in Mistwood, and the entire kingdom of Summerwood for that matter. Your king, known as the Wolf, has for some unknown reason declared war on the kingdom of the Pig. Enraged at this threat, the Pig has attacked the closest castle to him, yours. The King (the Wolf) has sent little men to aid you. But some is better than none. For three weeks the Wolf’s troops have held the valley below the castle, but they have been slowly falling back. You’ve sent messengers to the Wolf’s asking for more men, but he has refused! You once thought your king to be noble and just but now you see he is just a power hungry rat. With out more men from the King this is going to be hard. So you sent word to the lord’s of the nearby estates asking for help. Luckily they prove to be more helpful. Lord Dellran has sent mounted knights from the east, and Lord Caldahorn has sent a group of archer’s from the southeast, but they hmay have come too late, for the last defensive line of the Wolf's men are falling back and running to the castle walls. It looks grim, but always hope endures. You must surive the seige. And once you defeat the attackers, the Wolf's going to get what's coming to him for his ruthless behavior. But first, you must defend your castle.

Any advice is welcome along with reviews!!
This is a defending siege only. attacking could be managed, but is not recommended
I also advise to play on hard or very hard levels
______
Hints : 1. Have the archers that just arrived get to the towers quickly!
2. Use the horsemen outside the castle to destroy the rams and cut down the archers.
3. Have your horsemen ride out at key points during the seige to dispatch the attackers, and ride back into the castle after to wait for the next wave.
This is good fun siege map to play - nicely done with the battle at the beginning. Perhaps it would have been better to have a bigger battle at the beginning and then less invasions later on with a smaller castle. This map is a good creative map - liked a lot of the castle design and countryside although the plains in the middle were a little ordinary. Well designed overall. This was also fun to play although you never quite though the AI would break through as so many stand and do nothing. Still remarkably close and fun so 4s for both. As said above the map was well designed and very creative - I liked looking at the minimap at the start. Good castle design as well. A nice lenghty storyline, enough for a 4 and so overall congratulatiosn on a good fun map to play. Keep up the good work - I will look forward to future maps!

Nothing much to be said here considering Nat has already reviewed it but this map was great. I had a hard time finishing this stage so you get top marks for balance. I liked the cliff edges, they were detailed and looked really effective. I would have preferred to see less men attacking the castle because most of the time the enemy just stood around and all i had to do was get my archers to kill them. The battle at the start was good and so was the overall design. Your story was almost a 5 but i beleive it needed a little more depth to get me more interested in the map. To sum things up another great acomplishment, well done!
