This was a very nice scenario, I enjoyed it immensely, the story line was very good and the map design was great. (The river looked impassable but the enemy Archers came from below with me thinking they would appear in the same direction as the Mace men came!!)

I’ve given 4 to the Balance as I found breaching the castle very easy, due to being able to use tunnelers, this gave me an unfair advantage, and even though I lost quite a few tunnelers I still breached the castle with minimum losses.

If you haven’t downloaded it I suggest you do as it great!! :)

This scenario was a complete letdown after Usurper1. It ranks among the 3 easiest maps I have ever downloaded from Stronghold Heaven. By the time the first invasion showed up, the enemy Lord was almost dead. Needless to say, his macemen had no chance of preventing his death.

PLAYABILITY: If you attack the Castle almost immediately - you win with barely a fight. Ridiculously easy.

BALANCE: See above. Totally out of balance if you go for the kill shortly after you start playing. The lack of difficulty in winning from the get-go must be improved, as it allows you to basically bypass playing the entire economic and designed-in military portion of the scenario. As I said, victory was in hand before the first wave of invaders occurred.

CREATIVITY: A nice story implemented poorly.

MAP DESIGN: This map lacked the very detail that made Usurper1 stand out. Average all the way around.

STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: The story is the bright spot of this scenario, as it is well written and gives substance to the (planned) game play.

As stated in the story, the goal of the scenario is to kill the enemy Lord. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no challenge in doing so.

This map was a lot easier than part one. I didn't even have any invaders to threaten me. The story line was still very good though, and I liked that I had to take over the keep before gaining control over the area. Although this section wasn't very difficult, I look forward to going on with the story line. Dianna

This was defiently not as good as chapter one but not without its delights. The one major flaw being the balnce - you have so much time to get extra before strolling into the enemy castle. However still a nice idea and fairly creative. Map design stronger in this map than in chapter one. Good storyline to help it on its way - so detailed and well written. In conlcusion a strong map but with one main flaw that causes the map to suffer. Still - good creative work.
