One of the best maps recently. For your first map you should be proud of what you have created. I found it strange that 125 people have downloaded your map yet none have reviewed it so i did. Just to let you know your score would have been a high 4 if you bothered to put a story or instructions but because you didn't i couldn't give you marks for that. The design is very realistic, well as realistic as you can make Minas Tirith in stronghold and i'm happy you added that tree as many people leave it out. The terrain around the castle is very plain but you didn't loose points cause i love the castle. Creativity and map design could not have been better so i gave you top marks for that. Just remember your next map needs a story, objectives and instructions. Apart from that exelent work!

It is very hard to review this map. What is it? A movie, or a Stronghold invasion map? If You do anything, You win. If You do nothing, You win too. And it is equal, if it is on normal, hard, or very hard level. Map design is poor, castle better, by a movie. But as a Strongholg invasion map it is very poor, waste of time to download and play.

I do find both the other reviews of this map a little strange, one far too harsh, and the other unbelievably generous. As Futsy said you don't really have to do anything to assure victory, sit there and you win easily but if you command your defence (light pitch, use boiling oil na dmove troops around) the enemy barely get through the first wall. The map is quite long the samll waves of pikemen do get very repetitive and a little dull. To take a city of this size you need a much bigger army and also need to cut down a bit with the defenders. The city itself is quite well designed with good stonework and rewarding enough for 3 in each map design and creativity. Not a bad effort here at all, perhaps Pellenor fields and Osgiliath in the corner could have been a little more interesting. There is not mcuh to reward for storyline and instructions and the maximum you could give would be a 2. Overall not a bad effort at all, there are serious issues with playability and balance and writing a proper site description and storyline but not without hope! Good luck for the future!
