Your Stronghold, never have enemies breached its mighty walls. With your enemies getting stronger, you retreat your villagers into the valley. They will be safe there...
Three of the most powerful families in the land have allied and one by one the counties fall to their fire and swords. Your allies flee through the ruins towards your castle, but no matter how many rescue parties you send out they all get slaughtered.
You are the last hope for the country. Behind the walls in the valley of Sleepy Hollow the last safe haven in England waits to be cracked open and its flesh devoured by the ravaging greed of your foes.
Allready their armies march towards you. You have little time to prepare. This is your last stand. Your last hope. Englands last hope.
Before the mighty walls today will be the bloodiest battle ever known. Dare you face the Stronghold Challange?
A more in-depth story and a history of the land is enclosed. Your objective is to defeat all of the invasions. This map is designed to be hard, involving (near) pure combat and little/no economic management.
Please Note: This map has been massively updated and all issues mentioned below have been rectified.
This level was not so playable just because of a huge number of souljahs (both yours and enemy). When I played it for first time, warriors just destroyed the first gate and didnt even touch the moat b-tween the two gates.
There are a lot of men, thatz 4 sure, but that is the weak point of your scenario. BECAUSE: They are attacking your castle little by little, undrstnd? In small groups. Thats why they cannot get trough the second gate, not even trough the third and fourth.
There are lot of missions of this type. Not with such a good story, but for the next time, you should try something more interactive. The thang is that I can only watch my men killing the enemy, not doing much. Its like a film.
Map Design: 3
The castle is fine, thatz why I gave you 3 points. You should do some more work with the nature.
It was very good story, not best, but it did its work. I got the feeling of being a prison in my own castle while reading it.

ok.......(updated map version)
very fun ,nolonger a interactive movie due to less player one forces.
only for experts really could you defend a castle from 10,000 troups with less than 1000?
very interesting fort carved from the earth but doesent really have anthing special.
lots of nature and destroyed forts around the map nothing special again.
like all of zebases maps the story + instructions are oftern the best bit.he/she goes into great detail in research and fine tuning of information from the games campaign.
a very goood upgrade from the old map!

Not really what i like to see in a map. i wasn't too interested in this stage for a few reasons it was too cluttered, the terrain was way too plain and nothing really stood out. The balance was fairly good but at the end i had too many people left. It wasn't the most creative map. Nothing i haven't seen before so i gave you a 3. The design wasn't too complex but was fairly good and i would also work on the story a bit. Don't let my review let you down because if you fix these problems your next map will be alot better.

I think this map is very well done in the way the map is layed out, everything you need or want is in the right places and not many other map makers use map designs like the one this is. The only problem i have is where the units spawn at the start of the map they dont really attack, they send tiny little invasion while the bulk of the army watches while geting shot at. But it is a cool map. Keep it up.

Just to clear up any confusion - now that the downloads section has changed, reviews ABOVE this post are old, and the issues have been fixed.
Enjoy the map and please post reviews and comments. Even though the map has been on the site a long time I still aim to update them to make them more enjoyable.
