It is a extreme cool battle. You can find it in J.R.R Tolkiens book "The Hobbit". it can be it is to difficult to finnish the map, but if it is just warn me. You are the Dwarves, Lake-men and the elves against goblins and wargs. your mission is to stopp or eliminate all the goblins and wargs. The enemy King is Bolg, the evil goblin lord. you will not finnish the map if you kill bolg, but you will lose many soldiers because he have many lifeguards (Swordmen) around him. You must just consentrate on Thorin Oakenshield, he is behinde the gate in the north with he's companions 11 other dwarves. Good luck, hope it is much fun in this map.
When i read the title i thought to myself, not another one. This map is nothing special and in my opinion has too many men. It was too lengthy and had no real purpose. I felt a average score here was fair and there were a few things i didn't like about it. On the left hand side the cliff is way too boring, why didn't you try placing different sorts of rocks? the terrain was too plain overall and thats what really disapointed me. You may think i'm being too harsh but don't be dissapointed because alot of people will download this map because of the title. If you get better reviews than this thats good but this is my point of view and i'm staying with it. I did however like your story so keep up the good work and i'll look out for your future maps.

What a lot of fun! This is such a great map to play - definitely one to play if you love big batles becasue this battle is huge! There are lots on invasions - too many in fact and so I have marked it down a bit in balance for being too hard. Does not affect the playablity though. I liked the positioning of your men in the different groups all over the battlefield. I do not know how accurate this map really is. Having read The Hobbit a few years ago I do have my own ideas about the battle and this was not really what I imagined but not too far away. The map design was quite ordinary, good in places but generally quite plain especialy with the moutains - needs some work. The map is also quite creative - the first battle off five armies on stronghold heaven I believe but I do ot believe it is enough for naything more than a 3. The storyline is quite good, enough just for a 4. More is needed on the site itself - perhaps some tips on a picture would be nice. In conclusion a very fun map to play especially if you like battles - good work!

I must say I found this a little strange, but very fun and playable. As NAT said it wasnt how I imagined the battle either but I is still a good one.
Playability: 3
Nothing out of the ordianry but fun either way
Balance: 2.5
Far to easy even on very hard i placed the to armies in the swamp infront of the wall and destroyed everything in my way even though this was very satisfying it was TO EASY
Creativity: 3
I can remeber off hand exactly how the battle of five armies was fought but i cant remember there being to orc armies but it was certainly not how i imagined the battle.
Map Design: 4
Nice design probly the best part of this map
Story/Instructions: 3
This battle is part of one of the greatest works of fiction ever probly could have wrote a little more
Additional Comments:
Add a big invasion of around 300 swordsman as i still had 200 pikemen left and lots of archers left on very hard
