Years go on and the battle for England still rages on. Despite talks to the other lords, wars and death continue to rise in the country. You Arthur Redaxion son of Josef Redaxion own the counties along the coast. These counties hold great value for oversea trades and a place to keep your war ships. De Puce knows of their importance and seeks to claim them as his own, the French have also sent elite reinforcements to help in the Rats conquer. You travel to Thoren, home of the grandest settlement in your power. Although made of wood, this mighty structure is situated in the heart of Thoren therefore has a full view of the county. Not knowing you have arrived in Thoren, De Puce is likely to not send enough troops to defeat you, nevertheless never underestermate the French!
Suggestions: When playing stock up on ale. You will need to raise taxes in order to survive. Make more flechers because they hold the key to succsess and always remember to have enough food stocked up, you never know if the Rats men will destroy your farms.
Things not to do
do not destroy the walls or edit the castle in any way. It is impossible to make flat wooden paths while playing so if you destroy them you can't replace them.
With that said hope you enjoy part two of my campaign and happy gameing.
Lord Arthus
hi Arthus, I wont review this map, havent even looked at the review guidelines for starters and i don't like to anyway. What I will do is comment on what a great map and series this is shaping up to be.
A realy good start to the campaign the first stage was good and the second stage... well its even better.
The terrain is great, so very nice to look at the rivers and ocean that cuts into the cliffs looks very good.
the fort itself is very interesting and well designed I seem to like the look of wooden wall alot more then I do stone.( especially like the round tower of wood, great idea).
This map is very fun begin raising gold using ale, and increase the number of weapon to be produced in order to hold of against De Puce.(very fun indeed)
The only badside to the map is that you are unable to place any of the iron mines as there is not enough and the iron is too close to the signpost, not allowing you to build a mine. This may effect the balance, as you would sell the iron for gold in order to help recruit more men by buying some weapons.(finding it a bit difficult to finish, the iron mine prob may have to be adessed).
In summary this is a fun but challenging map I think if the problem with the mines is fixed it will even out the balance more.I still havent finished It, can you?
