The Baldytn Downs
As The king laid wounded on the out skirts of St Geloth, he reach to you and informed you that he had found out why the attack took play some 10 years ago. It was all to do with land, Charlton was running out because of increased rain fall and he organised with the other lords a share in the goods.
When the king lay restless after giving you a speech about his childhood and how he always wanted to be a great king unlike his father. He left you in charge of the people of Baldytn. He informed you that the water would eventually stop flowing and you could resettle with a lot of hard work, but first you must take out Charlton.
As we got closer to the castle Charlton sent out a messenger, we sent him back, without a head. After this Charlton’s rage over came him, he brought many of his men off their posts and into the battle fields this was going to work greatly to our plans. The castle held prisoner many of Herious bay soldiers, if we could free them we may have a chance to win. But if we get them out without killing many out the lower archers we both will be slaughtered.
This is going to be a hard battle but we will try even in the state we are now we will not withdraw, we will fight with honour and die with honour.
Hints
*Use your oil pots wisely
*Don’t charge the main gatehouse there is oil all around you

If you dont have the updated version of this map please downlaod it for the first version has an extreme flaw in the map and this would make it impossible to win.
It would only be the first 5 people who downloaded it who have this problem.

Playabilty was good but as i said in another review i dont really like invading its too hard, also you could have done with a few more events.
balance really was great you get down to your last man, well i did atleast, i took me several goes to get it right. the oil is good to burn i charged the main gate the first time and got slaughtered but eventally i got the wiff of where to go.
creativity- a little like baldytn but then i thought of the arch and it brought back some good sites and i think you deserve a 5.
Map design- This was well done and fit into the map really good although some bits looked a bit fake eg moat/river behind castle, all the rest looked great and deserved 5.
Story- was a bit more descriptive than the last bit sad all in one but i think it needed more still deserves 4

This scenario is possible to win also without siege weapon, this means on normal, hard and very hard, it took only longer time to win, using step by step tactics, hiding troops behind rocks and walls, without using engineers. The only problem are crossbowmen in the keep, but they are only two. Interesting idea, with the prisoners. Balance is hard, in this case, it is necessary to take care about each own man.
