This is another one of my simple-but-fun-yet-challenging maps. If you are good, you can beat this sucker on "very hard" difficulty.
Settings: You have the littlest castle in the whole world and an onslaught is about to knock you off your thone.
Features: Troop placement is key. It doesn't require the same kind of timing as my other map, "The Wall," but planning at the beginning and during the seige will help you immensely.
Someone cricitized my map for lacking details and other types of bells and whistles. To that, I can only say that my maps are more to challenge expert players. Its a simple challenge that I dare you guys to take. If you can beat it, you a pretty good. If you can't, don't think its impossible because its not.
Hints: Troop placement at the beginning is key.
This map is beatable. But, even for experts, you may find yourself winning at times and losing at times. Its a good map to play when you have nothing better to do.
Hope you enjoy it. Keep an eye out for my next map: "Open Yer Gates!"
Plays fine but really lacking in map design as there is none! Really a map needs a countryside and this map does not deliver at all although it is quite a fun siege and quite well balanced. I do advise you not to use knights as they are useless in most sieges. In your map they come in at the end and hack through the last of the gate quite well but can only wait till be killed as they can not go up to the keep. The pitch is excessive to say the least but quite satisfying and timing is everything. You hae got a fibe piece of storyline with the map - plenty of info and nearly a 4. Overall a fine playing map - the author understands all concepts of the game but lazyness has ben shown here. Please do in later maps have a proper map design with editor tools!
