This is a tale of events long past. These maps tell the story of your father and the events leading up to the fall of the kingdom. Can you step into your fathers mantle and fight the battles that will change history? Are you going to stand by your king? This is the Sleepy Hollow Prequil.
This collection consists of three maps, one main battle and two small maps to fill in the gaps in the story. This is why they are being uploaded together. (as well as for your convenience!)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Kings Day Out (the main map)
The King is on his summer progress through the country, ignorant of the gathering storm. He foolishly puts his trust in one man nicknamed "Wolf". He dismisses the rumours that this man wants him dead. You have persuaded him to stay at one of the stronger castles in the area. You must raise an army and defend your King. This battle will change the course of history. You must fight. For King and Country!
Return to Sleepy Hollow I&II
So I don't spoil the suspense, I will just say that these two small maps are set in the immediate aftermath of the battle. They enhance the story and add a slightly more tactical phase to this campaign.
Comments on these maps, in particular The Kings Day Out, would be welcome.
very fun and interesting it gives multiple ways to win the level were you can defend a smaller fort to alow more troups to be produced or abandon it and go straight for a last stand! sadly it just misses out as at the start depending were your lord is you can lose a signifcent amount of troups which could have been used later.(note the patch fixes this) this gives it a random luck start felling.
very welll balanced with a fair even chance of either side winning but due to the problem with playability the ballance can sometimes be effected.
very good map design in a creative aspect. good examples of the bridge(made of palistone), caves and a moat + bailly castle. sadlly nothing new.
unlike zebases previoius maps this one gives full acess to the whole map! and with the addition of roads coming from what seems are different towns gives the felling this is a part of a world not just a slab of earth that units telport on to.
very good and defently reflects that the lord is totaly oblivios of the coming invasions.(oftern going on mile long wonderings past enemy start locations). also defently shows research into the campaigns story line which makes the game feel alive.

I was passing by out of curiousity and noticed there was no minimap. So I took the liberty of adding the minimap. In the process I had to guess that the version used was v1.1 (the update form insists that the version is now added)
