You march at the fore of the long line of Pikemen marching towards Rardon Dell.
This city is all but the last hope of the people of Kalana. This is the only town that has repeatedly driven back the hordes of Goblins that threaten the country, its bright towers and walls a shining hope in the eyes of Kalanas people.
But as you round the corner into the valley, a grisly sight meets your eyes. The city has been sacked. It lies in ruins before your eyes, fires still burning in parts. With a rage you order your men forward into the city. Though most of the Goblin army has moved on, a few remnants still remain. You slaughter everyone of them.
In the aftermath of the carnage, your men hastily construct a wooden hill fort atop the highest point in Rardon Dell. In the distance, you hear goblin war horns. It appears you were not the only ones late for the battle…
I mad this map more for fun than anything else. It does not make great leaps in gameplay, butI have seen very few ruined cities, so I decided to make one.
This map includes:
-An extensive ruin for you to defend
-A large tunnel system
It is relatively easy, but I hope you have fun playing this map.
I had some problems with this map, due to the forces being so spread and with so many problems moving them about. Either terrain or structures made it almost impossible to move certain groups of forces, and there were also a couple of glitches where people got stuck. This lessoned the fun of the whole experience.
Having enemy forces in the midst of the ruined town was a nice idea, but the band to the north of the keep were penned in by terrain and structure so they couldn't even join the fight, and were easily dispatched. Even on hard my keep was never in jeopardy, and so I have to say it was just a little too easy. And the AI seemed confused an out of synch, which made things even easier.
I liked the ruins, and you put a lot of thought into them, with nice crumbling walls and towers and such. Good effort.
Map design: 4
Terrain design was good, and nothing seemed out of place, always a good thing. :) Nothing really special here, but a lot of thought and effort, and a nice looking map overall. Nice job.
Decent storyline, but no minimap, and the in-map story was short and could have been a little more in-depth.
All in all, a nice map, with just a few problems.

The map was nice looking. the ruins okay.but play was confusing, not much of a challenge.(2) the troops in the north can't join in the fight..balance was to much in the favor of me.(2) I usually like your scenarios but this one was a little weak. I think the idea of a scarfted castle was nice but not unusual.sense you put alot of work in it I gave it a (4)Map design had left out the forces in the north and were easy to clean up...I think if you had given more thought to numbers to be involved troops that is.The story was informative and clear.I gave it a (4)
