I was able to beat this, but it required much patience and thought. This scenario is fairly difficult, but only because it tests your patience as well as tactics. If you get frustrated...who knows what's going to happen.
This castle was actually actually pretty easy. I was a little disappointed at first seeing how it wasn't exactly a realistic castle. I think it's much more challenging to make realistic castle styles while still having them being difficult to siege.
With that said, I only took about 2% casualties. Trebuchets can work wonders...and from there it was cake filling in the moat from the far corner and scaling the back wall with ladders, which wrapped neatly all the way around to inside the castle. It only took a couple minutes. :/

The location of the Keep in this scenario is highly questionable. Why put all that defensive structure BEHIND the Keep when you know the attack is coming from the FRONT?
I lost less than 1% of my troops - 3 crossbowmen to be exact in my first try win.
This Castle might be a challenge if you attacked it straight up - but... =) Engineers and crossbowmen is all you need to win.
Imperialist:
Siege That! maps are about impossible topul off well. - the defenders just don't get enough resources.
This Castle would be much improved had the Keep been placed to the rear instead of towrds the front. That would have increased both PLAYABILITY AND BALANCE scores.
CREATIVITY AND MAP DESIGN are hard to score well on in Siege That!s simply because almost everything has already been done or tried.
Finally, STORYLINE/INSTRUCTIONS could get raised by giving us a setup story instead of comments on your own feelings about the Castle.
Do some Seige Castles (instead of Siege That!) - they are much more fun to create and to play! = )

Thanks for the reviews: even though they are low.
I must admit that Siege That maps are extremely difficult to make difficult, having the lack of resources and the ability of the attacker to use whatever they want.
This was undoubtedly the low range of my work: everybody has to fall sometime...

Don't feel bad - my lone Siege That! map is the lowest score I've ever gotten, too. The map sucks and the limited resources makes it even harder to create a halfway decent defensible structure.

Good job you done here i lost pretty much of my army i only had a few archers and macemen left but im sorry to report that it fell. Better luck next time. Oh by the way if you want a castle to hold out my siege's then you better have to make improvements. Attacker's - Macemen - Crossbowmen.
