This is the second part of my series. This is alot better than the first and you should enjoy it.
As your father dies you are promoted to Lord and you must do the Emperors bidding. On a routine sailing expedition your boat is attacked and you are shipwrecked into an Unknown Land...
Playability: 3. Even playing on very hard setting this map is definitely on the easy side, as it is listed. One nice touch, the granary, armory and stockpile are all in different locations so you need to decide up front if you wish to continue to run your economy exactly as it's given to you. You're given a pre built stockade and moat. And even though it's fairly easy, you will need to tend to your defenses or you might get overrun.
Balance: 4. Balanced pretty well for an easy map. It uses a variety of troops with invasions of increasing size.
Creativity: 3. Nothing particularly special or inventive here.
Map Design: 3. A basic map, all flat, but with sea and river and pleasant enough. Could have used more terrain modeling. A few scripted events could have made things a bit more interesting.
Story/Instructions: 3. Story line is a bit sparse. A mini map would have been nice.
A small, basic starter map for beginning and intermediate players that will give you a nice play.
