This is my first attempt at making a scenario. Any comments anyone has would be appreciated.
The king's daughter is getting married. Your job is to raise her dowry and procure enough refreshments for all the guests at a grand wedding feast.

Fine first effort!
This is an economic map that plays a lot like a free build. There were a lot of scripted events (both good and bad), but as they were mostly of the agrarian kind (hop weevils, etc.) and as there was no time limit and as wood was easily accessible, I just kept adding more farms to the ample valley floor. Some combo of time limit/wolves/bears/more bandit attacks might make it more challenging. Still, even though it was on the easy side, the playability was fine. I thought you had a nice mix of goals, too - good variety and not too much of any one thing!

The map itself could use some varied terrain. It was kind of the basic river on a valley floor. Nice placement of trees, though, and you avoided the 'large brush' syndrome that shows up in a lot of maps! I expect your map designs will get more complex as you gain familiarity and experience with the editor. You can get some ideas for different things here - waterfalls are always fun :)

I thought the story was really cute, and it tied in very nicely with the goals!
Altogether, not at all bad for a first map. I look forward to seeing your progress as a designer!
As economic missions go, this is a quite an enjoyable game, it plays quite well, and should appeal to most players, although experienced gamers may find it a little too easy.
The scripted events that occur throughout the game are not to sever and allow you to complete the mission without to much stress, although I did get slightly tired of hearing the same events repeat themselves on a regular basis. I believe with some tweaking in this area, and the use of more random events and more date settings added, the game would be improved.
The goals that the author has set for the game are not too difficult, and are a reasonable mixture of gold and goods.
One area of concern to me, was that there was far to much quarry stone too near the camp, I managed to build 4 quarries quite early on in the game, and with nothing essential to build with the stone, apart from the stone barracks, it was quite easy to achieve one of the targets.
This could be easily fixed by either moving the stone away from the camp or restricting the buy/sell in the marketplace, this I feel would further enhance the game play.
The map itself was a 300x300 and although quite a good sized map, most of the action takes place around a much smaller area, leaving the rest of the landscape, filled with a few trees,a diverging river, and herds of deer to roam gently around.
Although the author has added some hills to the landscape, and a mid-plain section for the quarry area, three quarters of the map appears quite flat and nearly featureless,this can be improved by adding rocks, boulders, and shrubs,etc, also more use of the elevation tools would improve the overall look of this map, but given that this is the authors first attempt, they have tried to put some thought into the overall layout and that is a credit to them. The more map making you do the better you will become at it.

The creativity aspect of this game is a hard one to score, the author has thought out the storyline quite well, and attempted to implement it into the game play, and it nearly, nearly works. Although there is nothing new to be seen here, certain aspects of the game are reasonably good.
The story is very nice and well written, short and sweet in its approach, and it sets the scene of the game very well.
This is a very nice attempt to join the hard critical world of map making, the author has done very well for a first attempt, and a few slight tweaks will put the scores up even higher. I hope to see more from you.
