This is the first map I created in quite some time - months maybe a year - My son wanted a new stronghold map and I was in the mood for an ole motte and baily. The starting goods and troops may be a bit on the generous side, and the script short but it does make for quite a bit of action.

Storyline:
In the short years following the Norman invasion of Britain. Your family's noble claim may be in jeopardy. Your father entrust you to ensure the saftey of your people at the trading post in Glydalw. You are to protect Glydalw from William's pety lords at all cost while maintaining it's wealth. This will bid your father the time needed to secure your people's fate with the new king.
Playability: 3. Definitely easy difficulty, as stated, even when playing on very hard setting. You start with a large Motte and Bailey fort with a large prebuilt economy, plenty of weapons and gold, and a fully stocked trading post. Only attracting manpower slows down your building as large an economy as you like with these generous starting goods. You'll need a decent size army to defend your settlement, but with modest preparations the invasions will pose no serious threat. Even on very hard setting with requirements doubled the eco goals were not too hard to meet.
Balance: 3. Average balance appropriate for an easy scenario. Scripted events and bandits add some interest but are never severe enough to cause much concern. Invasions are modest but could overrun you it defenses aren't strengthened.
Creativity: 4. General design and layout display good creativity.
Map Design: 4. Very nicely designed with good terrain modeling. Rolling, hilly landscape with water, marsh and plenty of trees. Large interestingly designed fort with an especially nice church complex.
Story/Instructions: 3. Short, but adequate story. Could have used a little fleshing out.
