I like this type of level. It is a zero-starting, where you have to secure your future. I liked this because there were so many levels with hundreds of enemies and the creativity was at zero. This is an economic/invasion level. I did need to restart it once, because the enemy was too great. It takes a long time to finish, but I did it on the second try.
Well, I think the first invasion was good, very good, but the others not. There were the same types of soldiers (spearmen, archers) in every invasion. I think it would need also macemen, but I respect this: I play on normal - invasions are normal, so I think 3 would be good. Maybe you should try to improve this in your future scenarios by not givin the player an oportunity of pitch ditchs or give him a certain number of archer workshops so he cannot build another. Balance of resources: It was good, but if you want to make this scenario even better, you should add time, until the main goals must be done (it should be the same time as the last invasion is over/defeated).
Well, I think you did some work with the events, but there were some mistakes. For example the wolf attack was ineffective as well as the rabit breeding, because it was outside the castle. You should do some extra scripting like jester, fire, theft etc. But anyway, I liked enemy warning messages. Probably the most creative element was to dig the moat around the whole castle. Thats why I give you 4. It was fun, lookin at my archers and spearmen diggin the moat in one line...
Map design: 3
Very good regarding the castle, but not so good for nature. There are too many bare spots in the game (not the field for moat). You should try to use equalize tool and also when creating a ford, try to lower the ground to minimum so it looks natural. There were all types of animals, so I think this was a good one.
Only two here. Even thou I dont like long stories, there was almost nothing.
Thanx for a good map! I believe your next one will be even better.
