You have docked, you and your men get off the boat and head to the castle..The castle that is said to be cursed. The castle looks perfectly normal on the outside...Once you enter you see the skeletal remains of those who were here before. By one skeleton written in blood are the letters W-O-L-V-E-S. Wolves you say. you know wolves are dangerous but you do not belive they could have done this... you remove the skeletal remains and clean up the castle you and your men are finished by nightfall, then you hear it....Howls not just a few but many of them you send out a scouting party, that doesnt return. You lock the gates ordering the men who are left at the castle onto the walls. You can only hope the troops at the docks are alright....

Here's a map with two islands connected by rock walkways, and a wood enclosed keep. I kept looking at it and turning it this way and that, wondering 'is it a bird? It kind of looks like a bird's head with a little body'! Anyway, it was fun to see how the resources were placed all throughout the map and incorporated into an island setting.
This is a very playable map, with a terrific balance. Lots of wolves as the story suggests, but there are also pikemen, etc., set up from the start. This is one of those maps where you'll want to begin clearing land right away, lest the trees take over! Playability: 4 Balance: 5
I'm giving a 4 for creativity mainly because (as I said above) I liked seeing how all the elements were placed within the islands. Map design is a 3 - almost but not quite a 4. Here's why: I wasn't sure if the islands were a design of some kind or not. If they were, it could have been clearer. And if not, then some of the resources making up the parts (like the big rocks) were placed a little too neatly together. Though I liked the waterfalls, I also found them slightly confusing too, as they seemed to arise from nowhere - a spring effect would make them seem like they were bubbling up from the ground. But overall I liked the design, especially the parts connecting the islands and the water inside the enclosure. Creativity: 4 Map Design: 3
Story was very good, and has a different one in the game than is what on the description page. Story/Instructions: 4
Overall, a fun map, Lord Ryu - my favorite of yours so far! :)
