Saladin just odered to attack Antioch. Unfortunatly Duc de Puse found out about this litle attack, thankfully the bandits destroied his city and his troops were left without a leader.Duc de Puse is hiding in Snake's Castle .Make them BLEED!!!
Seeing the minimap before playing this game, I was expecting a skirmish, as there are several enclosed areas with towers. Then I started the game and realized - those are all my troops! This was a fun map to play - the hardest part was scrolling around to find out where all the action was taking place (as there were so many places for the enemy to attack). The only thing detracting from playability was that there wasn't much that I absolutely had to do to ready my forces for attack. So much had already been provided for me. Still, I immediately set up weapons production, and was later glad for it. Playability: 4
Through the first half of the game I was thinking I would give balance a 3, due to the overwhelming numbers of forces in my possession. I missed the first attack entirely, and it was over before I found out where it was (as I was otherwise occupied). The next few attacks became increasingly stronger, and the final attack was from a massive army. Balance: 4
I thought it was creative to have the castle divided into so many sections. The enemy attacked from several different vantage points, as well, so I was constantly moving around telling my people where to go. Creativity: 4
The only problem with the map design was that a few places were inaccessible due to the terrain. Still, I thought the castle was well done, and the terrain very interesting. Map Design: 5
Story/Instructions: Nice story, complete with hints. S/I: 5
