I played this map once on hard, I didn't load or restart.
Playability : It was a nice map to play but it was much too easy, this was mainly caused by a lot of the enemys staying at the signpost. This might have something to do with the fact that I was able to seal of my side of the map with just a small wall without a gatehouse, to fix this I would suggest more entrances and/or making it necessary to access the other half of the map. For instance by placing recources there.
Balance : It was too easy, cause of the AI bug, and on the economic part because of wheat and no disasters.
Creativity : I hate to rate this a 1, but the map had no new ideas or anything special/thrilling.
Map design : I felt very two-sided about this; On the one hand the map looks very nice, and it felt 'good' to play in it, but it wasn't designed well. Having only one entrance that can be sealed of DOES NOT WORK, due to poor AI.
It was also very clear that the designer is (relatively) new to the editor; there were NO building/ marketplace restrictions. I love a beatifull map though, as it greatly add's to realism so I gave a 3.
Story/instructons : There was a short story and a few instructions.There were also some in-game messages from the snake. Absolutely nothing special though.
To designer : I can clearly see you like to make maps, and I think you could become quite good at it, you just have a lot to learn. For this map I would advise the following improvements:
-Add more entrances.
-Make the economy harder.
-Think of a nice story to go with it.
-Disable the ability to build a lot of buildings and marketplace trading.
