The War is on. The Wolfen Alliance is attacking the Polaris Alliance, and this base is critical. You must protect it. A couple of elite mounted units, pikemen, and a crossbowmen have been assigned to this base, but rushing them around is difficult. There are only three fords onto this island. Defend each one with care, for if any enemies manage to reach your Lord and kill him, your mission is doomed.
Expect large enemy forces of 50 or more soldiers. The enemy force will consist primarily of spearmen, archers, and macemen, although expect smatterings of Swordsmen, Knights, and siege engineers. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ISLAND.
This is my first-ever Stronghold map. It was inspired by a map called Red Alert for Age of Empires II. Similar to this map, in Red Alert you had to defend a position from a signifigant tactical disadvantage. While Red Alert was signifigantly more complicated then anything that can be achieved in Stronghold, the similarities remain. |

Playability: 2/5
There is one way you can win this scenario and thats by taking all your melee troops to the keep byuing as much wood as possible and then build as much wall around the keep as possible.
Balance: 2/5
As playability there is one way to win and thats by using a foul trick that i dont think anybody uses.
Creativity: 4/5
Chapter one?? sounds like your making a campaign. and that is creative!!
Map design: 3/5
So and so
Story: 4/5
Not much but it was good.
Over all I think it was a rather good map, but needs some more work.
Keep up the good work/AdG |

Playabiltyi-4
Once the invasions get underway, this is a very fast paced map. I didn't wall myself in, but tried only to patch up the ford defences. I enjoyed the numerous melee battles, and the intensity of the keep battles.
Balance-3
I completed (just) first time, and eventually on hard, so it was relitivaly well balanced.
Creativity-4
I liked the melee battles, and they actually worked well in a map for a change. The way the map played out seemed kinda new to me. Like AdG, I would encourage you to keep going with the campaign.
Map Design-3
Good in some places, kinda rough in others. I like the general look of the map, but you need to neaten it up in places (i.e the hill in the river, or the massive forest thats only purpose is to fill in plain).
Story-3
I'm always kinda strict on this. I liked it, but it was too short. There was no supporting documents or additional information in the .zip file. However, the story itself was good (great names!), and if you can link it to other maps, it would be fantastic! |

@Jax Omen
The idea is that the story is cryptic and incomplete. I was hoping to create a "Slice of Life" campaign that only shows a dark of a larger world. However, if you think so, I'll expand the plot. |
