Hey. This is my second map that ive actually tried on. Its supposed to be Osgiliath the ruined city in LOTR. I thought it would be cool to have a map where a lot of the fighting is in streets and enclosed. This is the end result. As with my Helms Deep i don't think ive got the balance 100% right so if you want to post any suggestions and improvements i could make that would be cool.just thought i ought to mention about how crucial it is to check and recheck your troop positions as it can take a long time for troops to travel through the streets and around all the ruins. Its also great fun to lead the enemy into traps. So play it have a laugh and please tell me what you think and i'll improve it any way i can. Thanks.
This map is better than your first one. I can see that you are a Lotr fan... that's good, I am one too but it's anoing (is this how you spell it?) to find only lotr maps. why don't you variate your maps
make a good one with complex scripting, a good story and well thought.
(check my hight rated maps for example):
"ignis ater" has a complex solution(I call it solution 'cause you have to do some things in a certain order not to get your troops stuck
"nosferatu" has a very complex script (it evan containes a conditionated invasion, thing that the game producers claim it can not be done)
remember that I'm not showing off with my maps but I would like to know your opinion about them and give you some clues althow "The battle for osigiliath is quite good

3's all across the board. This is an average map in my opinion. It has a few flaws, you get too many melee troops in my opinion, some of the attackers spend too much time filling in the moat/river, and the map design has the potential to be awsome. I am a Lord of the Rings fan and am glad to see a LOTR map other than Helm's Deep or Minas Tirith. With some eye-candy and tighter balance/playability this map would truely be a classic LOTR map.
