You had it all you were the most powerful lord around until an unfortunate avent acured and the people turned on you you must now coil the rebelion with only a few trusted men
I thought thaty this map was fairly good on the design scale but not so good as one to play a battle with.
Playability:
This wasn't particularly fun to play. It was increadibly easy. I simply had too many soldiers. I was able to pack all of my soldiers into the outermost gatehouse and watch as they fired volley after volley into the enemy. Very few of the enemy soldiers actually made it to the gatehouse moat.
Balance:
As mentioned in the playability, there were too many soldiers on my side compared to the enemy's. Maybe you didn't play test it enough times.
Creativity:
I really liked to be put into the role of someone evil. Most maps have you as a force of righteousness which is why this ones was so much better.
Map design:
This was very good. I liked the use of ruined areas of town and the layout of the barracks. Some good eye candy things as well. The only problem was that outside of the castle there wasn't anything. Just dirt and grass. It might also have been better with a few more characters speaking and different times.
Story/Instructions:
This was good. Although about average. For a good story I like to read about a page or so. There wasn't any additional story except for that which was on the stronghold invasions page.
Overall beter in someplaces than others. Perhapse if you spent a bit more time in testing the map it would be better.
