-Adding more events in the map
-Doing a little landscaping in the map.
"The king is building a ship for journey to the Holy Lands. The king's engineers have completed the construction of the ship. Now,its up to you to fill the ship with foods and weapons for the journey.Finish the job before the king arrives or he will be displeased."
This map has a good premise - provisioning a ship about to leave for the Crusades. I really liked the ship, and the placement of the armories and granaries on board the ship! I thought that was pretty creative. The map terrain could use a little more landscaping, i.e. some rocks or trees on the hill with the iron and stone. Map design could be a three, but for the sake of the well-done ship, it gets a 4, as does creativity.
The story was short but tied in very well to the map and the mission, plus a hint file is included. Story/Instructions: 4
This was a fun map to play - it wasn't til partway through my second attempt that I realized what I had to do to win. The one thing I think could be improved upon are the scripted events. I got tired of the repeating bandit attacks and wheat diseases - you might play around with some of the other possible scripted events, and throw in a good thing now and then. ;) The balance score isn't really for it being too hard, though it is nice and challenging. I think playability and balance are both about a 3.5, so I rounded up on the playability, as I really did enjoy this map!
Good job, and thanks for making a fun economic map, Xetas! :)
P.S. The download file still contains both the locked and unlocked maps!
