"Wwwaarrgghh! I am mad, I will smash you to pieces, into little bittty pieces!" - While you, Duc Truffe, have been away happily pillaging small villages, the mysterious Lord Hewman has despatched his vile blue troops to raze your castle. - "Who's this Hewman anyway? I 'ate him! He's always attacking me an' spoiling my fun! I'm sick of it. He's even 'ad a statue built! Aargghh! This time 'e dies, muhahaha!" - It's true, no-one has ever seen the Lord of the blue troops, some say he can command with only a click of his finger! - You must retake your decimated castle and rebuild, improve and expand. For now that Hewman has dealt you this savage blow it won't be long before your 'friends', dear old Ratty, Snakey and Wolfie, see this as an excellent opportunity to kill you off and expand thier own little empires. It is also vital to destroy Hewman's statue as soon as possible, you will die if you have a positive fear factor! - "Blow the horn, bang the drum, the Pig is coming to town" ...
This is a quite long, but fairly straightforward Cede-Ecovasion where you play as the beloved Pig. It was designed and tested at Normal level but it should play fine at Easy or Hard as well.
My thanks to Lord BloodHawk for playtesting.
Hope you enjoy it, happy gaming ...

Brave Sir Robyn has produced a gem of a map here, combining all aspects of the game into one epic map! Entertaining from beginning to end!
If I could I would give the map 4.5 for both playability and balance - it was tough to decide. However this map is very nearly 5.0s all round - it really is brilliant. The start of the map is hard, fending off little attacks while trying to lay your own siege. I went in quickly, immediately after intercepting the groups of archers. I am an imprecise and lousy attacker but I eventually took the castle. It was only when I did this did I realise that there weren’t any trees on the map! It took me completely by suprise and I did miss them slightly; I think trees add more to the design and it felt a little artificial having to buy in huge amounts of wood. The rest of the gameplay however is truly brilliant, with events and invasions always keeping you on your toes as you head towards huge goals. I was quite a bit way off at the very end but with more practice and a more organised economy I am pretty sure I could do it!
For map design, creativity and storyline I am quite sure to give the map 15/15. The countryside is wonderfully crafted and rugged and the ruined castle very convincing. The iron and stone hills are also very well designed and there is a terrific atmosphere to the map. The map is also incredibly creative, playing as the Pig goes against everything in the book especially when you see him chanting out at the beginning; awesome work! The storyline as well is very creative, but could be a little bit longer and I am sure people would appreciate a few tips in a text document with the map as this is a bit of a tough map.
All in all I, Pig gives you a whole new perspective on a map and provides everything you would want, attack, defend and economise. Great work!

I, Pig
Is INCREDIBLE! A truly outstanding, and generous contribution from Brave Sir Robyn to every fan of Stronghold….Thank you! From start to (what a feeling) finish it will surpass all preconceived expectations that you might harbour about Stronghold. Those unfamiliar to his work can expect a taste of genius, a map littered with experience and an opportunity to play without feeling pangs of disappointment.
BSR’s skill is very much apparent is this delightful offering, and has managed once again to push the boundaries of map design further back into the sublime.
I, Pig is nothing short of an epic, but with more class than a school reunion it holds up being a fine example of what is ‘possible’ in the current Stronghold editor. This beautifully crafted map will keep any pretender on their toes long enough for pins and needles to set in, and because of the sheer, unprecedented size of the journey it will require the player to respond possibly better than ever before.
"Who's this Hewman anyway? I 'ate him! He's always attacking me an' spoiling my fun! I'm sick of it. He's even 'ad a statue built! Aargghh! This time 'e dies, muhahaha!"
I, Pig is an intelligent collection of cohesive styles (Siege, Invasion and Economic) that will leave you gasping for more and more! It’s not just fantastically good it’s unbelievably great and (speaking confidently here) it will be one of the best maps you play this year if you get your hands on it.…that’s if you haven’t played any of Brave Sir Robyn’s maps before :o). I, Pig is one of the best maps available today and like a juicy peach, sun ripen and bursting with plenty of flavour – this map is something you wanna get your teeth into. A downright classic, that won’t ever stoop low enough to allow you to feel cheated, or left unsatisfied…trust me! This map is something very special. And when all is considered, played and admired I, Pig is pretty much out there with an elite band of maps.
"Wwwaarrgghh! I am mad, I will smash you to pieces, into little bittty pieces!"
In this review I could easily go onto to describe each one of the 5 areas in depth – I could write at lengths why this map is soo good and why you the reader should download it right this second. I could if I had more time move onto say why Brave Sir Robyn is a fantastic map maker with a keen eye for detail and perfection, and why this map is one of his finest works. I could suggest tips and strategy that I found on my quest. But if I really thought all of that were needed and more, maybe! But the truth is! This map doesn’t need a conventional review – it has body and soul all of it’s own, a playability that is more than well felt whilst involved, and so on this basis and from the perspective that it’s a truly great map I’ll let I, Pig speak for itself.
"Blow the horn, bang the drum, the Pig is coming to town"
Kind regards, Andy
