My Lord,
The King requests your help some two years ago the Rat sacked the defences at Adwalton moor,
We must rebuild and hold this position to secure the Kings left flank,
You must trvel quickly taking with you only light supplies, the monks in the area have offered to help
Our cause, they live alongside the outlaws in the mountains since the Rat’s men destroyed the monastry
We must use the materials from the ruins to rebuild secure walls and moats, the monks have told us
Should we offer meat and bread to the outlaws they will fight alongside us, we must endevour to do this at all cost since among them live some of the finist archers in the land.
Make no mistake my Lord should the Rat here of this he will return in force, take advantage now and God be with you.
Playability is good, althought I had to restart because I was stuck in my castle without wood and could not get out of it to get some because of the invasions, so the second time I let the closest trees expand inside the castle, not to face that situation again. And I made it, without needing to cut them down... Guess the way I handled it the second time was the good one. The invasions are nice, but a bit big in very hard, as usual, and the fact of being able to enclose the quarries compensates the fact of not being able to play if it was far away... 4
Balance was good, it was a constant rush, especially in very hard, and there was enough things to take care of besides the invasions. You must get going quick or you are dead meat... 3.5
Not much to say about creativity: you start from scratch (Which I like a lot!). 3.5
The landscape is pretty well designed, too bad you did not add more details, and the force of the invasions makes it a bit hard to fully exploit, due to the location of the castle in a corner. Also, a bit of water goes over a hill... But in its main aspects, a nice map. I guess the idea was not to create a river but some kind of swamp... 4
Story is short, and to access the map, it's not less than 5 folders to open... two of them being zipped ones...
You can put everything in one... 3
