Stronghold Crusader Maps
Designed By David Keith

A Set of 4 Skirmish Maps for Stronghold Crusader, that I designed, in which I have titled each one: Allies,
Explorers, Sea Dogs, and The Three Musketeers, respectfully. Each Map is 400x400 the Largest Size Map you
can make with the map editor, Each Map has 8 players on it.

Each Map is very versatile. you can play them all alone, or with a friend, or against others via the Internet or on a Lan. I myself play these maps with the Computer AIs as allies against other computers, you can have alot of variety with each of these maps even when your allied with the Computer AI, below is listed a short description of each map:

Map 1: Allies: Allies of the Forest: Ally with Your Partener, Defend Your Realm. Can you hold of your enemies to win control of the Forest?

Map 2: Explorers: Explorers in a new land: Ally with a Partener as Explorers in a strange new land.

Map 3: Sea Dogs: You have entered into the realm of the Routy Sea Dogs, ....Arrggh Ya Matey, Prepare to do battle.

Map 4: The Three Musketeers: The Three Musketeers Journey in a foreign land filled with riches; however, the local lords do not take kindly to strangers.

I hope everyone that downloads these maps enjoys them all, I spent alot of time making them so I could have more maps to play with the computer as an ally on, in large scale battles. You can also play with friends as allies or against other human opponents on these maps.

Good Gaming,

Sir Lurchalot Hello, David,

You might want to check your zip file. I've downloaded it four times and each time it tells me it contains errors (actually, that there are bytes missing.).

Hello Sir Lurchalot,

I just downloaded it and checked the bytes of the files to, it downloaded and unzipped with no problems, prehaps your ISP or Modem is causing the errors you experienced, you might try downloading some other things as well to see if you get the same error, and also this file was zipped with Pkzip, what I use, not Winzip, I hope that helps.

I would say something is causing your error on the lost packets though, so you should definitely try other downloads to.

Sir Lurchalot Hi again, David,

I must say it's very strange. I alternated downloading it with several others here and they all worked fine. However, this file failed each time and gives me a message "5360 bytes missing." Has anyone else download it with no problem? (Besides youself, I mean.)
Hi Sir Lurchalot

I just tested it and downloaded it with no problem and no error message ... seems very strange ...

Are you using a download accelerator (or whatever they're called)? They tend to cause problems with HG downloads ...
Sir Lurchalot Hi, Gill,

Thanks for that. :) I just tried it again with the same results. Very strange indeed. I also downloaded his other map listed just above it with no problems. I'm fact, I've had NO problems with *any* of the other maps listed.

No, I don't use any of the download accelerators or those other utilities that resume a download if it has stopped. Just a straight, ordinary download.

Very, very odd.
