This is the first map I've uploaded. See what you think.
Story:
You've been sent to the Blood Fens (Named this because of all the people that have died in them) to kill the evil Lord Crulla (AKA The Pig)
Kind of regular scenario build up your castle whilst under attack, then build up your big force and go destroy the enemy.
Playability: I tried very hard and found out that you barely survive some attacks before you are dead meat... So I backed up on normal, and I must say that it takes a while to build up a strong army to face the constant non-stop invasions, and then to take care of the enemy castle. I hired a lot of crossbowmen and sent them on the back side of the castle, where the attacks come from, so I would kill the defenses from the back and invade the castle from there. I posted them in front of the castle until they killed the closest opponents, then I heard "We took control of the castle"... The Pig was dead... Victory. I did not attack the way you had planned, I guess, but it did it. (The stairs and tower had been destroyed... did not see how and when in the game, as this is on the other side of the map.)
Balance: The constant invasions makes it long to run a smooth going economy. There is no bad (three only!) or good events, you must concentrate on surviving and building your economy. I think some more distant invasions coming along with some bad events could make it better. The archers that joined my camp, yep, the green ones, appeared in the middle of a big enemy invasion and were all crushed within a few seconds... None of them reached the castle...
Creativity: Nothing special, good invasion map, I liked the hidden passages...
Map design: The design of the Pig's castle is very nice, it's too bad you did not work more on the landscape, you would have gotten a five here.
Story: short.
An enjoyable map.

I spent nice time with this map and scenario. The strongest aspect is IMHO playability and balance. I start with normal, and after some reloads in the start of the game I found good strategy for defense, and I win. Then I tried twice in very hard and I suppose, that it is impossible to win - overstand attacks in late beginn. Then I win again in hard.
Map design is fine, but I don't understand the "secret path" to the castle, with stairs, where it is very easy to destroy defending forces. It is quite unrealistic, to build a castle and leave such a weakness in defense.
Story is short.
I like such a long game, slowly tu build economy with many repeating reasonable not to "big" invasions. Thank You, PGS for a nice time.
