The Village of Arylat resides on the Western Sea,with a beautiful view
and fertile grasslands, you'd think it would be a nice place
to live, but there are some major issues here.
To begin with it's a wolf haven, which keeps the people from
their duties.Also,plagues,rabbits,pestilence,blight and
famine occur constantly! No Jester's or Fair's come due to the nature
of the place. It is up to you to lay down the law,get the people
working and clean the place up!
This scenario is hard for me to rate, but as usual,it can be played
from easy to very hard.I suggest normal first,as it kept me very busy.
Hint #1,A marketplace is very important,as is Pitch rigs and Woodcutters.
Hint #2,Build the Barracks,Armory and Apothecary asap!
P.S.Please rate my maps,as this will help in future projects.
Good Luck!

Playability - 4 - This was a fun time limited mission that kept me interested till the end. It required me to think and use a few different strategies than I have in many recent economic missions.
Balance - 4 - At hard I found it challenging, but definitely doable, am hoping to find time to play it again at Very Hard sometime.
Creativity - 4 - I found some interesting creative factors in the events, story and map
Map Design - 4 - The map design worked with the mission requirements, and was attractive.
Story/Instructions - 4 - There was a very enjoyable story that really set the mood for the mission, a few spelling errors detracted from that slightly.

After attempting this mission numerous times - I finally won (and 10 months early on normal). I love that you had to have a proper balence of buildings, this forces the player to use their resources strategically. The map served its purpose, and the timing of the various events worked perfectly to give the player a challenge.

It's all around food and ale. At the same time under the pressure of a time limit and with the request of a -4 fear factor.
Placing buildings in the right order and sequence is significant, and tactics at the granary will be necessary. Hint: site the farms next to the stockpile. If brewers and bakers have a longer way to walk, it does not matter.
The mission is well winable on very hard.
Did not find the scenario "ruthless" but entertaining.
Especially I liked that gold is only a measure here to build fletchers and later to balance popularity. "Eat, Drink and Be Merry!" works in a similar way.
