On one side of an immense bay stretches "The Siletz Keys". The Keys (fancy name for 'sand bar') are considered the western side of the bay on this map (where the single keep placement is).
Only the wealthiest persons of the land call The Siletz Keys home. They cultivate the only large arable field and hoard their supply of stone and iron. But different types of peoples dwell on the other side of the bay. On the eastern side are two local lords who are having a tough time of it. Living in the shadow of "THE KEYS!" the two barons on the east side are stuck with no resources or income. Living within a trebuchet shot of the rich across the bay also pours salt in the money-wound. Scant farmland and a long road to patrol gives the barons little time to ponder their ordeal however. The main road on the map is the eastern lord's lifeline and as long as the road stays open, they can afford a rebellion against the rich across the bay. Along with a tiny piece of mutual farmland (representing the town vegetable gardens) the two barons also own single hops farms (located in the bay on the east side). These hop farms represent the local crab catch. This is the situation at the start: The barons hatched a kidnapping/ransom plan and were "patrolling" the road for a victim. The Siletz Keys has found out about the two barons plan by well paid spys. They have decided to eradicate the problem......for good!
Set the computer AI on the western side to 40k in a deathmatch game (or lower if you want it easy). I like to use the Pig on the western side representing the rich. Then you can play two human players (or one human and one computer) on the eastern side. Remember humans will start with 3K on the deathmatch setting with maximum computer advantage. Use the tiny patch of farmland effectively because thats all you get. The roads that lead to the iron mines in the southwest corner need to be patrolled as the attackers from The Siletz Keys will come over and wreck stuff and eventually try to destroy your cathedral (Mo's restaraunt represented). Build up a army and kill the rich bastards! Look for the map detail on the bay, its an actual representation of the Siletz Bay here in my town. Please remember to RATE the map if you are going to post a review. Thanks!
While the idea behind this map is interesting, the map itself simply does not function.
First off, the hop farms are completely useless as they are improperly constructed. I cannot believe this map was playtested because that would have shown up immediately.
And then there's the AI... Regardless of which one you use, he is also completely useless. He will not build a granary and stops all production after a few minutes, therefore never building up an army.
Some serious rework needs to be done before this map can really be played.

It worked when I played it. I DO NOT POST UNTESTED MAPS! I'll work on it later, and dont really appriecate your negative feedback.
