You and 12 hired crossbowmen are in the Rocky Mountains to take advantage of the clear spring water and fresh air to brew a new ale. This is no vacation, there are mountain tribes around and they dont want the secret receipe of their special brew to get out. Watch for attack from all directions. Get your ale brewed (120 ale needed to win) and then party hard, drinking and having a good ole time back in the City! You have two engineers to provide cover (shields) for you. A few horseknights have come up the mountain with you, use them to your advantage on the uneven terrain. Watch for the unique landscape on this map. Have fun and dont forget to rate.
Playability: 4
This map was submitted as an invasion, but the author has edited it as an economic scenario.
But this is only a small detail. I see it as an eco-vasion.
Everything works fine. No errors detected.
Balance: 4
Your most valuable asset proves to be the crossbowmen that you receive from the start, since they are not available at the barracks.
Guard them well and then you have a chance to survive.
I believe the difficulty in this map are the farm lands being quite a long way off.
This results in slow ale output, being the challenge here througout the whole game.
I had trouble with the people happiness going up and down like a rollercoaster, because I had to choose between food and ale.
After the final invasion, I had only hops farms to speed up ale production together with 3 or 4 churches.
I even had to lower happiness to zero and then again up to 100, because of the overcrowding (negative effect on happiness).
The overcrowding was caused by sending home all of my troops.
But it was fun experimenting with unstable happiness.
Creativity: 4
The crossbowmen together with the shields are original and so they are forming a "human" wall.
(Construction of stone walls and towers are not available).
Map Design: 4.5
Good idea to work with plenty of stone texture. It gives a rough natural look to the map.
The hills are nicely incorporated in the stonelike landscape.
Story/Instructions: 3.5
Basic story explaining the main lines.
Additional Comments:
Natural looking map with stonelike texture.
Good idea to work with a "human" wall, composed of crossbowmen and shields.
A nice eco-vasion map, lollard.

Problem: If someone is going to deduct from a map's score sheerly based on its label (economic or invasion) then they should keep in mind that this map is a series of invasions + a one economic goal. The invaders are more of a threat than not achieving the low ale goal, so I posted it under Invasions. If you didnt think the map was a 5 playability, then ok. But dont take off only because of the category listing.

A weird yet elaborated landscape and puzzling mission.
Stones cover the Rocky Mountains, a wild area with steep slopes and hollow-ways. Exciting to find and arrange spots for groups of buildings there. Just, along the river should appear some sources of green.
Army compilation turns out unusual. While the Cathedral is often disabled nowadays, it plays a crucial role here.
Also in the field of economy. Different phases of sustaining popularity change. Food, ale and half rations, ale only, ale & Cathedral & taxes (as deer tend to die out), ale & Cathedral & bad things & bribes.
