The map is divided down the center by a mountainous region. Parts of the raised section are unreachable. I also had difficulty moving through that area. You get a red X when you try to move through the mountains in some spots. Otherwise the map plays ok.
This map has alot of resources, hence the name. It works out to be really alot as the game progresses (iron supply is huge). I have played maps like this on gamespy. There is so much coming in from the resources that you cant spend it fast enough sometimes. This also means huge castles with 50 crossbowmen and ballistas in each tower, sometimes the towers are 5 deep on the walls. But then the attacker usually has 200 catapults so you need that many towers. The amount of troops you use on these types of multiplayer maps is comical; 400 assassins are not uncommon. I had 500 armored kinghts once - it took an hour to march all of them over to attack a keep bacause of lag. This map is a change of pace from the norm where you watch the one stone quarry and use each block of stone with care.
This is a 8 player map. Purely because of that fact I'm giving it a 2. Otherwise there is nothing original or remarkable here.
Map Design: 2
This map looks like someone was praticing making mutliplayer maps with mountians between sides with 4 players each. The high resources also make this flawed in my opinion.
I'm assuming English is not the author's first language.
This map SHOULD be downloaded. If you need a map with alot of resources for a big fight between 8 players, this is a good one. Getting four people to play and not quit is hard enough. Ive only played in one 8 player game. And it ended early because of quits. Also playing 4 humans versus 4 comps is not a good idea because of the lag. So if you really want to fix this map you should: make it a 3-7 (leaning towards 4) player map, write up a simple story, detail the landscape better, and cut down on the iron and stone.
