This map features a fictious castle built on top of a canyon. I was aiming for a hard siege, and that is why I chose such terrain. But I was also aiming for a map that would be chalenging both when attacking and defending the castle. And that brought the difficulty down. I found out that it's really hard to make a siege that is both balanced and challenging, so I made a balanced map for people of my skill (noobs). Well, at least I think that it's balanced :p
Requires a bit of studying to find the route, but really only one good way to attack...
PLAYABILITY: Beter than some maps, but not in the top echelon, either. My normal tactics worked well with the only challenge being finding the path to the gate.
BALANCE: First try win with under 20% losses. Could use more defensive strength.
CREATIVITY: Story, map, and defenses were all done well.
MAP DESIGN: Nice map! Nothing spectacular, but definitely above average in presentation.
STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: Plenty of background and well written!
