It is early fall and mist rises from your breath as you raise your looking glass to your eye to better see the far off castle you have been ordered to sack. You have no idea of it's strategic importance being only ordered to kill the local lord and rout his troops. As you peer through the telescope you wonder what mad hand had designed this castle, for it is unlike any you have ever seen before. It sits not on a hill but on a plain with oddly crenellated walls and you can discern no way that it can support itself through a siege having neither farms nor peasant hovels,in short purely military. The only reason you can think of for being here is that it is a castle on the sea and possibly an important center for trade or tax collecting. The castle looks well defended and you wonder if it's possible to sack without giving the lives of too many of your men to do so. As you mount your horse and prepare to direct your men in the taking of the castle you curse the ill fate that brought you to this moment and wonder if it may not have been better to have stayed a farmer...
A few things to note:
-The castle is in an odd place (Who builds a castle in the middle of nowhere, honestly!)
-Due to the odd crenellations siege towers may not be a viable option in sacking this castle, you may have to rely on numbers.
-The walls are fairly thick and the gatehouse is well defended with mangonels, oil and other nasty surprises, don't you just wish you could use siege towers XD
I hope everyone who downloads this map will enjoy it and maybe give me a rating so I can see what I did wrong and Improve on my other Siege That maps!
ok ur got me this is the only map from this site i have dounloaded from theis site so far that i couldnt defeat lol

Buh? What do you mean couldn't beat it...it's definitely beatable, and if your going to give me a bad review at least leave an analysis other than "I hated it because I lost :-( so bla!" it really doesn't help me.

Easy to play and easy to beat with the right troops
a little unbalance to the attacker make it harder!!!!! TOO EASY I ONLY LOST 50 GUYS AN I HAD 200
the defence design is ingenious and the towers getting smaller like a stair case is cool looking

Well since lollard is asking so nicely I'll give him a hint. First of all getting through the wall is key and to do this the only feasable weapon is the trebuchet. After that it's all up to pikemen (swordsmen are too slow and macemen are too weak), just watch out for boiling oil!

Playable although slighlty 'off' in parts.
An O.K balance
Quite creative altogether.

A carefully thought story with a good flow.
