The map is balanced badly. It looks like the author gave a period of a month for enemy's attacks, so it happens that they come every 20 sec

Joy prevails after this game, but I got a little headache, too.
"The infidels are attacking" - to have to hear this every month is a torture. (Step-by-step, 4 different invasions are triggered, all ocurring monthly).
The concept of the map is different and tricky. While often one builds up walls to secure the ranged troops, this time the opposite way may be best. You start on a decent island ("stockpile island") for weapons production, with a safe backcountry for happy farming. Out there are the stone quarries - and the small but endless waves of enemies. You have to shoot free the way. Under this protection, some quarries and additional farms can be placed. Good is that there are two signposts.
Eco and fighting invasions help each other significantly. Only, after two firm outposts being set up, the game becomes a bit boring.
